Cherry Chocolate Surprise Cake

Pour prepared cake batter into a greased 12" dutch oven. Spoon cherry pie filling into clumps over the cake batter.

In a small mixing bowl, cream together the cream cheese, egg, sugar and vanilla, until the mixture is smooth. Drop by the tablespoon over the top of the cake.

Bake using 8-10 briquettes on the bottom and 14-16 briquettes on the top for 1 hour or until the top center of the cake springs back when touched.

Serve warm with whip cream as a topping.
