Far Western Tavern Salsa

Mix the first four (or five) ingredients in a large porcelain or stainless steel bowl. Add salt and pepper, and Tabasco to taste. (Keep in mind that as the Tabasco migrates through the salsa, it will get somewhat hotter).

Refrigerate at least a day before using.

*The Far Western Tavern is a bar/steak house in Guadalupe, CA, near Vandenberg AFB. I don't know if it still exists, as I haven't been back there in thirty years.

I found this place mat in one of my recipe books. I picked it up at the Far Western Tavern in 1982.
