Rice & Steak Bake

Preheat a 12 inch Dutch Oven

Cut Steak into serving size portions.

Put a little oil in bottom of kettle and brown steak.

Set steak to one side.

In a bowl mix up all the other ingredients EXCEPT THE RICE.

Put rice in the bottom of the kettle and pour all of the soup mix over the top, saving back enough to pour over the steak in the final step.

Stir rice and soup mix together. Put on the heat and bring the mixture up to simmer.

Place steak over the rice mix and pour the remaining soup mix over the meat.

BAKE at 375° F for 45 minutes. Use 10 to 13 briquettes under the kettle and 12 to 16 on the lid.
