Tuti Fruiti Meatloaf

Mix together beef, sausage, bread, eggs, ketchup, Tabasco, pepper & cranberries.

On a piece of wax paper, rollout the meatloaf mixture about to an inch thick.

Put a layer of apple over the meat.

Layer the cheese over the apple.

Put a layer of ham over the cheese.

Now a layer of spinach.

Line the eggs up end to end on one side of the meat mixture.

Now carefully roll the meat mixture up around the eggs. This takes a little time and patience. The meat roll will be about 18 inches long and can be cut into 2 loaves.

Put 2 slices of bacon across the top of each loaf.

In a pre-heated 12 inch Dutch Oven place both loaves on the bottom.

Bake at 375° F for 45 minutes to an hour. Use 14 to 16 briquettes on the lid and 12 to 14 under the kettle.

Hints: Cover a round cake cooling rack with aluminum foil. Bake the meatloaf on the rack. Put a combination of red and white new potatoes around the meatloaf. Add chunks of carrot and onion for color and flavor.
